How to create customized Wallpaper using Canva

Create customized Wallpaper: Your wallpaper is the first thing you see when you unlock your phone or open your laptop—so why settle for something generic? With Canva, you can design a personalized wallpaper that reflects your style, mood, or message. Whether it’s a motivational quote, a gaming theme, or a collage of memories, Canva makes it easy and fun.

Create Customized Wallpaper

1. Open Canva and Start a New Design

Go to Canva.com or open the Canva app. In the search bar, type “Wallpaper” to browse templates or click Create a Design → Custom Size to enter your screen dimensions (e.g., 1920×1080 for desktop, 1080×1920 for mobile). Select your canvas size according if you are creating wallpaper for mobile. Rest process will remain same.

1. Click “Create” on the left sidebar.
2. Click on “Custom Size” in the popup just appreared.
3. Choose the device resolution for which you are creating a wallpaper. (Here we have choosen a wallpaper size for Laptop Screen.)

2. Search Photo background for your Wallpaper

After selecting the Canvas size. Click on “Elements” button on the left sidebar and Search Wallpaper.

1. Click on Elements.
2. Search Wallpaper background of your choice.
3. Click on See all photos.

3. Select Photo background for Create customized Wallpaper

Choose the photo you like from your search result and Apply it to canvas. As shown in the figure.

• Choose the Photo you like from Search Results.
• Right click on the photo appeared on the canvas and click “Set image as backgroud”.

4. Upload a logo for your Wallpaper

Uploading a logo will give your wallpaper your true personal touch. Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Click on “Upload” button on the left sidebar and upload a logo using upload files button from your computer.
2. Click on the uploaded file and it will appear on the canvas.
3. Resize it and drag it to the position where you want to place it.

5. Add Some transperancy for better look

Add some transperancy for the better experience of your wallpaper. Here you go:

• Click on the image itself and a toolkit will appear above the image.
• Click on the transperancy button and adjust the slide accoring to your convenience.

5. Add text for more personalization

You can add text over the image like your brand title to make your Personal Customized Wallpaper more personal. Here are the steps you should follow:

• Click on the “text” button on the left sidebar.
• Select the font design you want to add.
• Add your Choice of text. (we used “Learn with Vinod” as title)

6. Download your Customized Wallpaper

After adding text, click on the text box and from the same toolbar appeared above the image you can use text effects of your choice, but completely optional. Then Click on “Share” button on the top right corner and click on download button. Choose File format as PNG for high quality graphics and download the wallpaper.

7. Set your wallpaper as Desktop Wallpaper.

After downloading it. Right click on the downloaded file and select “Set as desktop Background”. You will see that your wallpaper is now on your desktop and looking amazing.
