Download Microsoft Office Free:
To download Any Office version, there are 3 steps one should follow carefully.
- Download the Office Deployment tool.
- Download configuration xml.
- Run the tool.
Step – 1: Download Office Deployment Tool:
The first step is to download the Office Deployment tool (ODT) which is a click away. Click here to download ODT. It is very easy to download the ODT tool. Download and place this file in a separate folder. I created a “New” named folder in D drive.
Step – 2: Download Configuration File:
Here is a guide to download the configuration file. Click this link to download xml file. Choose the architecture (1) and then select the version of your office you want to download (2) Then Choose the latest version (3) then finally Click on Export (4). Place the downloaded xml file to the same folder.
Step 3: Run the setup file:
The last step is to Open Command Prompt as administrator and choose the same directory (folder) where the Office setup file and XML file are kept.
Select Drive (1) and use the cd command (2) to select the desired folder. Lastly, run the command (3) (where co.xml is the file name for configuration.xml) Now you are good to go.

Points to note:
First of all, remove any other version of MS Office if you have installed it on your machine. Downloading an office requires a lot of data. Make sure you are connected to a high-speed and reliable wifi connection. Use comments if any error occurs.
