⚠️ Important Note Before You Begin
- All existing Digital Signature Certificates will be permanently deleted during initialization
- You’ll need to reapply or reinstall your DSC after the process
- Make sure you have the correct token model (HYP2003 HS Series or compatible)
- Token will be restored as it was new. All data will be deleted.
Download the Initialization Tool
- Download the official HYP2003 Initialization Tool.
- Download the ZIP file and extract it to a known folder on your PC
Run the Tool as Administrator
- Open the extracted folder
- Right-click on the HYP2003 Tool icon
- Select “Run as Administrator” to launch the tool with proper permissions
Click on “Initialize”
- Once the tool opens, locate and click the “Initialize” button
- A warning message will appear—confirm that you understand the data will be erased
- Click “OK” to proceed
Step 4: Wait for Completion
- The tool will process the token for a few seconds
- Once done, a success message will appear
- Click “OK” to finish
Your token is now initialized and ready for a fresh DSC installation.
What Happens After Initialization?
- The token is formatted and reset to factory state
- You must contact your DSC provider to reissue or reinstall your certificate
- If you’re a DSC partner or vendor, you can now configure the token for a new user
